Z/HS - central keying system with master key

The locks within a property can be individually specified.  The individual key only opens and closes the associated cylinder.  The master key opens and closes all cylinders within the system. A master key system employed in a SME is shown in the following sample chart.

This business has four zones, which are equipped with an individual lock.  With his individual key, the carpenter can open and close his own zone, but none of the other zones.  The same applies for the other individual keys which only have authorization for their zone.  In this case, the technical manager has a master key and with it can open and close all the cylinders in the system.
